The Warehouse 23 team reports that 323 reward packages have been shipped out this week; expect to start seeing Magic Items 2 within the next week or so! PDF rewards will be handled in the near future.

Please Complete Your Survey Today

This is it, gang! At the moment, 16% of you have yet to complete your BackerKit survey and time is running out. On Monday, September 30, surveys will close and any of you with incomplete surveys will be issued a refund and removed from the project. For most of you, this isn't a problem since your surveys are done. Thank you! If you're on of the 88 backers with an incomplete survey, though, now is your time to act.

Why do we set a hard deadline on surveys? We have learned from experience that leaving open surveys leads to future complications. No joke, we've had surveys finally completed for the Ogre Designer's Edition this year, which is close to seven years after we shipped the rewards for that campaign. We now set a "complete by" date for projects so that we can officially close and clear out campaigns and aren't dealing with them years later.

So far, everything is on track for physical rewards to be delivered in October; we're ahead of schedule! So please, if you're one of the 88 who haven't handled your BackerKit survey, complete your survey ASAP so that you don't miss out on the Magic Items 2 book. Thank you.

BackerKit Surveys Open, Pyramid Dungeon Collection PDF Now Available

Thanks for the assistance with the smoke test, gang! We corrected the biggest error -- the Pyramid Dungeon Collection PDF was missing from the add-on options -- and all surveys have now been sent out.

Please complete those surveys immediately. On Monday, September 30, we will close and lock BackerKit. At that time, incomplete surveys will be canceled and refunded; failure to complete your survey will lead to removal from the Magic Items 2 project.

Once we've locked surveys, we'll start taking action to prepare rewards for release. We expect to ship physical rewards in October; when this project closed and we decided to stick to the unlocked 48 pages, we then ordered the printed books . . . and the shipment has already reached Warehouse 23! It looks like we will be able to come in ahead of the estimated December delivery.

BackerKit Smoke Test and a Dice Preorder Store

It's official, gang! Darryll has opened the BackerKit smoke test, which means that some of you have received your survey. Once we collect enough data to verify that the surveys are running properly, then we will open the survey for all project backers.

Please remember to complete your survey ASAP. We're doing everything that we can to deliver your rewards soon (October is looking possible), which means that we need to close all surveys on September 30. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

We heard you like dice.

We're trying something new and would appreciate your assistance with testing the newness. We've worked with BackerKit to create a dice preorder store where we're offering several new dice designs. The preorders are scheduled to ship in December and then, in January, we will open the dice for sale on Warehouse 23.

This test is limited to those in the United States; we want to be sure this works before we add in the complexities of international shipping.

BackerKit Surveys Next Week

Everything is moving forward as planned. Next week, we will open the BackerKit surveys where you will provide your address, pay for shipping, and make your add-on choices (if any). As part of the "Quickstarter" model, surveys will close on September 30 at which point we will start taking the steps necessary to fulfill the campaign. 

Surveys must be completed by September 30. Failure to complete your survey by September 30 will result in a refund and removal from this project. We must set firm close dates on projects so that we can properly account for and fulfill our Kickstarter campaigns. 

No BackerKit stretch goals. We looked everything over and determined that stretch goals in BackerKit would only cause delays in completing this project. As for the sixteen magic items that were not unlocked, the team is discussing a future home for those pages (as well as the monsters from Monsters 2 that were not unlocked, and some other stuff). We will find a way to make that missing content available in the future.

This licensed project has met its goal and has over three weeks to go; check out the new campaign today!

At the moment, as the fulfillment teams work on shipping out the Monsters 2 Kickstarter campaign, our editorial team is taking action to get the Magic Items 2 printed book into your hands as quickly as we can manage. That leaves me doing little more than overseeing a bunch of very hard workers, so please let us know if you have any questions. After all, I should be doing something with my time, right? And answering your questions is as valuable a task as any that I can tackle.
